During the summer of 2012, I interned as a museum preparator in the Exhibition Department at the American Museum of Natural History and assisted in creating a 40' long diorama for the "Our Global Kitchen: Food, Nature, Culture" Exhibition. The diorama reconstructed an Aztec marketplace at Tenochtitlan, Mexico. I aided in sculpting some foreground objects and primarily assisted in painting the background of the diorama. The exhibition is currently traveling between other museums internationally.
